Walnut Tuffles
Truffles with a deep nutty flavor and natural sweetness from the dates. Made with just 2 ingredients and very easy to prepare.
🛒 Ingredients
• 100 g walnuts
• 15 dates (about 130 g)
Decoration (optional)
• 20 g crushed pistachios
(or shredded coconut / crushed walnuts)
👩🏻🍳 Instructions
1. Rinse the dates and dry them well. Do not soak them.
2. Lightly toast the walnuts in a dry pan and let them cool completely.
3. Remove the pits from the dates.
4. Blend the walnuts and dates until a sticky mixture forms. It’s fine if some larger walnut pieces remain.
5. Shape the mixture into small balls.
6. Freeze for about 1 hour.
7. Decorate with crushed pistachios.
Store in the refrigerator.
