This is the easiest and creamiest hummus I’ve ever tried - with no added extracted oils. Ready in just 2-3 minutes.
🛒 Ingredients
• 1 jar chickpeas (drained weight 400 g)
• 1/2 lemon
• 1 1/2 tahini
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/2 tsp ground cumin
• 1/4 tsp garlic powder
• 3 ice cubes
For topping:
• smoked paprika
• parsley
• whole chickpeas
👉 If using canned chickpeas, make sure to pour off some of the liquid. Canned chickpeas usually contain more water than those in jars.
👉 In the video I accidentally cut out the part where I pour in the juice of half a lemon, but it’s listed in the ingredients. Don’t skip it.

1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
2. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt, cumin, and garlic if needed.
3. Transfer to a shallow bowl and top with whole chickpeas, smoked paprika, and finely chopped parsley. These toppings really enhance the flavor, so don’t skip them.
