🛒 Ingredients (8 pieces)
• 1 1/2 cup (170 g) chickpea flour
• 3 tbsp (15 g) psyllium husk
• 10 g baking powder
• 2 tsp seasoned salt (or 1/2 tsp salt + spices of choice)
• 1 1/2 cup (350 ml) water
• 3 tbsp olive oil
• 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
👨🍳 Instructions
Mix the dry ingredients well to remove any lumps.
Add the liquid ingredients, mix well, and let the mixture sit for 10 minutes to allow the psyllium husk to gel. Stir again afterward.
Distribute the batter into baking molds lined with parchment paper. The consistency should be similar to cake batter.
Bake for 35 minutes in a preheated oven at 180°C (top and bottom heat, second rack from the bottom).
Remove from the oven and allow the buns to cool completely on a rack.
Enjoy! 💚

Tips:
✔ Do not replace psyllium husk! Some suggest oats, chia, or flaxseeds, but they won’t provide the same elasticity, and the buns will turn out crumbly.
✔ Use whole psyllium husk, not powder, for the best results.
