Hazelnut Cookies
These delicious cookies are made with only two ingredients and have a rich hazelnut flavor. They can be dipped in dark chocolate for an extra special touch.
🛒 Ingredients
• 200 g raw hazelnuts
• 1/3 cup (80 ml) maple syrup
Decoration (optional)
• 50 g dark chocolate
• 1/2 tsp coconut oil
• crushed hazelnuts
👩🏻🍳 Instructions
1. Blend the hazelnuts until they turn into flour. Do not overblend or they may release too much oil.
2. Mix the hazelnut flour with the maple syrup until a sticky mixture forms.
3. Shape the cookies with slightly wet hands.
4. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 12–14 minutes until lightly golden.
5. Let them cool completely for about 15 minutes so they firm up.
Decoration (optional)
1. Melt the dark chocolate with the coconut oil over a double boiler.
2. Dip part of each cookie in chocolate and sprinkle with crushed hazelnuts.
3. Refrigerate for about 10 minutes if you want the chocolate to set faster.
