Fig Pistachio Tuffles
Soft fig pistachio truffles made with dried figs, dates and pistachios. This healthy vegan recipe with few ingredients is naturally gluten-free, no-bake, easy to make and incredibly delicious.
🛒 Ingredients
150 g dried figs
10 dates (about 100 g)
100 g pistachios
Decoration (optional)
100 g dark chocolate
1 tsp coconut oil
crushed pistachios
👩🏻🍳 Instructions
1. Rinse the dates with warm water and dry them. Do not soak them.
2. Remove the stems from the figs and cut them into pieces.
3. Chop the pistachios and set a small portion aside for decoration.
4. Remove the pits from the dates.
5. Blend the figs and dates in a food processor with an S-blade until a sticky mixture forms.
6. Mix in the chopped pistachios.
7. Shape into truffles and place them in the freezer for about 2 hours.
8. Melt the chocolate and coconut oil over a double boiler.
9. Dip each truffle into the chocolate and sprinkle with crushed pistachios.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
