Marzipan Truffles
π Ingredients
β’ 200 g blanched almonds
β’ 200 g dates (about 20 pcs)
β’ 100 g dark chocolate
β’ 1 tsp coconut oil (optional)
π©π»βπ³ Instructions
1. Rinse the dates with water. Do not soak them! Pat them dry.
2. Remove the pits from the dates.
3. Set aside a few almonds for decoration. Roughly chop them with a knife and leave them aside.
4. Place the remaining almonds and dates in a blender and process with an S-blade until a paste forms.
5. Shape the mixture into small balls and freeze them for 1 hour.
6. Melt the chocolate and coconut oil (optional) over a double boiler.
7. Dip each ball in the melted chocolate and place it on a board or tray lined with baking paper.
8. While the chocolate is still soft, decorate with pieces of almonds.
9. Refrigerate until the chocolate sets.
10. Store the truffles in the fridge - if they survive that long π
